Two cars collide on Faraktár Street in Debrecen

A traffic accident involving two passenger cars caused significant disruption on Faraktár Street in Debrecen on Monday, November 2, 2026.

The two vehicles collided on the built-up section of Main Road 48, within the city limits. Two people were travelling in each car.

Debrecen’s professional firefighters arrived at the scene and began disconnecting the vehicles’ batteries.

Traffic restrictions were introduced following the collision. The carriageway leading out of the city was completely closed, while traffic in the opposite direction was limited to a single lane.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and exercise caution when approaching the affected section of Faraktár Street.
