Traffic and bus service disruptions in Debrecen due to roadworks

Several Bus Routes to Skip Jerikó utca Stop

Road construction work is being carried out near the Jerikó utca bus stop, DKV has announced.

During the works, several bus routes will be required to skip one stop.

From 7:00 a.m. on Friday, October 30, 2026, until the end of service on Friday, November 6, 2026, bus routes 21, 33, 71, 71A, 71H, and the Auchan customer shuttle buses, heading toward Nyugati Industrial Park, Nagymacs, the North-Western Economic Zone, or the Auchan store, will operate without stopping at Jerikó utca.

The same change will also affect night bus route 93.

Lane Closure at the Mikepércsi Road and Kazár Street Junction

Temporary traffic restrictions will be in place at the junction of Mikepércsi Road and Kazár Street from Monday, October 26, to Friday, October 30, 2026, due to utility pipeline installation works related to water infrastructure development in the southern part of the city.

During the construction period, the outer lane on the Kazár Street side, designated for straight-ahead and right-turn traffic, will be closed.

The Municipality of Debrecen asks motorists traveling through the affected section to exercise extra caution.
