There will be no water in these streets of Debrecen on Tuesday

Employees of Debreceni Vízmű Zrt. will carry out reconstruction work on the main drinking water pipeline on Tarányi József Street in Debrecen on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

During the work, there will be a water supply interruption in the following street sections:

• Híd Street: 2/A, 2/B, 2/C, 2/D and 2/E

• Tarányi József Street: the section between No. 4 and No. 20/C

Firefighting water will not be available in the affected area for the duration of the work.

After the work is completed, the drinking water may become cloudy. However, it does not pose a health risk, although allowing the water to settle is recommended. The cloudy water can be flushed out of the system by briefly turning on an outdoor garden tap after the work has been completed.
