The Zsuzsi Forest Railway will take visitors to the St Martin’s Day Goose Festival
The Zsuzsi Forest Railway’s Goose Festival will offer visitors a range of family-friendly activities, including St Martin’s Day folk traditions, a forest hike, traditional folk games and other entertainment.
During the event, visitors can learn about St Martin’s Day customs and the world of geese, as well as explore a diorama exhibition at the House of Nature.
A hike through the November forest will be led by environmental educator Edit Varga, while children can enjoy face painting, traditional folk games and a carousel. The event will also feature a craft chocolate fair hosted by Black Bunny.
A buffet will be available at the House of Nature, serving a selection of treats, including goose-themed delicacies.
The train will depart from the Ruyter Street station at 9:30 a.m. and return from Hármashegyalja at 12:30 p.m. In addition to a standard train ticket, visitors will also need to purchase a separate event ticket.
According to the organizers, online ticket sales will open soon. Purchasing tickets online is the only way to guarantee participation. The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the programme.
