Police arrest suspected drug dealer in Nádudvar

Police have arrested a 49-year-old man suspected of selling drugs in Nádudvar, Hajdú-Bihar County, following a coordinated operation, the Hajdú-Bihar County Police Headquarters announced.

According to police, officers from the Hajdúszoboszló Police Department received information suggesting that a local resident was selling illegal drugs in the town.

After carefully examining the information gathered during the investigation, detectives organised an operation and raided the suspect on Wednesday morning, October 28, working alongside officers from the Cívis Public Order Support Unit.

The 49-year-old man was taken into custody and questioned on suspicion of drug trafficking. He was subsequently placed under criminal detention, and police have initiated proceedings to have him remanded in custody.

During the operation, officers also questioned several people suspected of purchasing or using drugs. They are expected to face proceedings on suspicion of drug possession, according to the police statement.
