Gov’t Holds Consultations With Retailers on Mandatory Food Discounts

The government has held consultations with big retailers and professional associations on a draft decree that would require larger supermarkets to offer discounts on selected products in a number of categories on a regular basis, the Economic Development Ministry said on Tuesday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.
