BinX, Számlázz.hu Join Forces to Automate and Digitize Hungary’s SME Landscape
With the introduction of the BinX Pro account package, the two fintech leaders hope to automate the country’s business operations at scale, offering a zero-fee banking solution that simplifies financial management for up to 800,000 Hungarian firms.
The partnership represents a decisive step forward for Hungary’s rapidly evolving fintech sector. By merging BinX’s innovative digital banking infrastructure with Számlázz.hu’s well-established invoicing ecosystem, the two companies say they can deliver an unprecedented level of automation between banking and billing.
The new BinX Pro package allows businesses to connect their accounts directly to their Számlázz.hu profiles, enabling automatic payment processing, invoice tracking, and real-time financial management through a unified, intuitive interface.
The integration addresses one of the most time-consuming challenges entrepreneurs face: manual data entry. Payments for incoming invoices are now automatically prepared, account balances are updated in real time, and all relevant information is available on a single dashboard.
Available to users of the számlázz.hu #profi subscription plan, the BinX Pro package provides free account opening, zero monthly maintenance fees, and, uniquely, no transfer fees for account holders. This design could save businesses significant amounts each month, particularly those handling high transaction volumes.
Significant Savings
Some financial experts estimate that the new product could lower banking-related expenses for SMEs by as much as 97%, providing vital relief at a time when inflation and operating costs remain a pressing concern across the sector.
“This partnership marks another important milestone,” said Balázs Ángyán, CEO of Számlázz.hu. “The shared banking package makes life simpler and more affordable for entrepreneurs. We’re moving closer to a reality where launching and managing a business in Hungary requires only two essentials: a tax ID and a Számlázz.hu account. With this integrated, cost-free banking option, our clients can manage their finances entirely within one ecosystem,” he adds.
Ákos Demeter, CEO of BinX, emphasized that the initiative goes far beyond convenience.
“For business leaders, time is the most valuable resource,” he explained. “Our goal is to let Hungarian SMEs focus on growth rather than paperwork. Automation and data-driven processes are not buzzwords anymore; they’re the foundation of a modern, competitive enterprise. We’re ensuring that financial operations become an advantage, not a hurdle.”
The BinX Pro package consolidates the strengths of earlier banking solutions while introducing a new standard for automation, cost efficiency, and business agility. Subscribers to Számlázz.hu’s #profi plan can enjoy completely free banking services. For accounts processing transfers below HUF 5 million, a symbolic HUF 199 monthly fee applies, a fraction of what traditional banks typically charge.
Both companies underline that their partnership is not merely about cutting costs but about redefining how SMEs operate. The integration significantly reduces administrative workload, automates repetitive financial tasks, and enables entrepreneurs to devote more time to innovation and strategic growth.
Informed Decisions
The BinX platform aggregates all essential financial data, allowing businesses to monitor balances, invoices, and transactions in one place. This centralized, data-driven approach improves transparency and supports better financial planning, helping SMEs make faster, more informed decisions.
By bridging the gap between banking and invoicing, BinX and Számlázz.hu are changing the narrative for small and medium-sized enterprises in Hungary. Their collaboration illustrates how fintech innovation can be leveraged to enhance long-term sustainability, efficiency, and competitiveness, not only simplifying operations but also empowering businesses to scale in a more digital, data-oriented economy.
The BinX–Számlázz.hu partnership highlights a new phase in Hungary’s fintech development, one where integrated ecosystems replace isolated tools. Instead of juggling multiple platforms for financial management, entrepreneurs can now handle all aspects of their company’s finances in one streamlined system.
BinX, founded by the creators of Számlázz.hu, operates as Hungary’s first fully licensed neobank under the supervision of the Hungarian National Bank (MNB). As an electronic money institution, it provides full-scale payment accounts for SMEs while safeguarding client funds through the MNB or low-risk government securities. Unlike traditional banks, BinX is not permitted to lend from client deposits, ensuring strict regulatory compliance and financial transparency.
For its part, Számlázz.hu has spent two decades helping Hungarian entrepreneurs manage their finances more efficiently. Serving nearly one million businesses, the platform handled more than 100 million invoices in 2024 alone. Over time, it has evolved from a simple invoicing tool into a comprehensive digital ecosystem that integrates accounting, taxation, payments, archiving, factoring, and debt management, all designed to save time and reduce administrative costs.
