Budapest’s hotel market emerged as a regional leader in July across several key performance indicators, with the Hungarian capital’s hotels recording a net average daily room rate of €140.20, surpassing Vienna.
According to data comparing Budapest, Vienna, Prague, Bratislava, and Warsaw, hotels in the Hungarian capital recorded an occupancy rate of 80.6%, enough for third place. Budapest ranked first, however, in terms of net average room rate, as well as in one of the hotel industry’s key profitability indicators, revenue per available room (RevPAR), which reached €113.
