On the first day of 2026, the beach at Szigliget was once again crowded: the bravest took a dip in Lake Balaton, while others cheered them on from the shore in thick coats. The New Year’s dip attracted a large number of participants again this year, with hundreds of bathers braving the icy water, while cheerful costumes guaranteed a great atmosphere.
The organizers treated participants to mulled wine, tea, and tasty snacks, ensuring no one went hungry or cold.
