‘Survivors carry the credentials of the forever silenced’ — A Conversation with Dr. Péter Forgách

Péter Forgách fled Hungary with his parents in 1956 at the age of 10, and in a way he owes this decision to a poor math grade. Influenced by Hungarian scouts and the Piarist fathers, after the fall of communism in Hungary he used his professional contacts to establish MBA and other scholarships, support scouting programs and other similar initiatives enabling young Hungarians to study in the U.S., or young Hungarian Americans to spend time in Hungary.
